Haydarpasha Sultan Abdulhamid Han Hospital

The Haydarpasha Sultan Abdulhamid Han Hospital is located in Uskudar, Istanbul. This construction was initiated in 1844 by Hacı Hüseyin Pasha and patients were accepted in 1846 .

This hospital served as a military hospital until 2016. Today my hospital give service as Training and Research hospital under organization of Ministery of Health. Our hospital has eight hundred beds.

Department of Surgery has 4 academic members, 8 attending surgeons and 5 residents.  In our department approximately 2000 operations are performed annually and I am serving as a Bariatric Surgeon in my department.
