• Dr. Van Campenhout graduated as Master of Medicine in Medicine in 2016, with Magna cum laude.
• He further specialized in general and abdominal surgery in AZ Sint-Jan Brugge, Maria Middelares Gent, Erasmus MC Rotterdam and UZ Gent.
• During his traineeship he developed a keen interest in bariatric, upper-GI and pancreatic surgery.
• He is proficient in minimal invasive surgery, including robotic surgery.
• After his traineeship he followed a fellowship in revisional bariatric surgery with dr. Bruno Dillemans.
• Since august 2022 dr. Van Campenhout is working as a general and bariatric surgeon at ASZ hospital, Aalst, Belgium.
