Israel's first new public hospital in 40 years, (opened in 2017) Assuta Ashdod is a state of the art facility, that provides high quality medical care to the people of Ashdod and surrounding areas. It serves about 500.000 population of Ashdod and surrounding, and is an employer of 1200 doctors and nurses who have joined our hospital, motivated by the feel of an Israeli startup, where innovation, creativity, and excellence are embraced. It is affiliated with Ben Gurion University School of Medicine.

It is a green hospital that meets international standards. Our diverse operating procedures are characterized by environmental responsibility and effective use of resources, from the stages of planning and construction to the actual operation and maintenance. Our air conditioning system saves hot water in the winter and uses thermally insulated glass to save energy on heating and cooling, controlled lighting systems, and more.
